Knob and Tube Rewire
Some insurance carriers do not approve of out dated knob and tube wiring and will not provide you with coverage if this is in your residence. We will come remove your knob and tube and rewire the house to current Canadian Electrical Code standards.
Aluminum Wire Replacement
Due to high copper prices in the 1960s to mid 1970s many contractors utilized aluminum wire. Aluminum wiring expands greater than copper and is not as conductive if it is to oxidize. This can result in arcing and overheating, a fire hazard. While a copper re-wire is the ideal solution there is a compromise to pigtail your devices which can save hundreds to thousands of dollars.

Pot Light Installation
Too many clients don’t realize how dark it is in their homes until after we install our slick LED pot lights. Contrary to older pot lights that may have been using a 35 watt halogen bulb the product we use only consumes 9 watts per unit. Think of the savings on your Hydro bill
GFCI Protection
Certain locations and certain devices in your home require ground fault circuit interruption (GFCI) for your protection. We can retrofit your home to make sure it is safe for you and your family.
Light Fixture/Fan Upgrades
Of course we can do this for you. Before we do this we verify that the existing electrical box in the ceiling is sufficiently anchored and rated for the weight and the strain from the fan.
Hot Tub Connections
If you are lucky enough to be getting a hot tub to relax then you need a power feed for this additional load. Let us confirm your electrical service is sufficient for the new hot tub. We will confirm with you and the hot tub provider what the manufacturer requirements are for your new hot tub.

The new LED fixtures are providing a great quality of light at a fraction of the wattage. We will calculate how many watts you are consuming and how many you will be consuming with the new units. Then we will let you know how long it will take for you to recover the cost from the price of the install. Everything after that is straight savings into your pocket.
